About

Hi, I’m Bailey! I’m 28 years old. I have a variety of mental illnesses and neurodivergencies. I write to express the beauty and pain of living.

I intend for this blog to contain my honest thoughts and opinions, which may or may not be during a low point. I will try my hardest to make those thoughts and opinions as entertaining as possible, while still holding true to the values of honesty and integrity.

I have a Bachelor’s of Science in University Studies, with emphasis on theatre and digital filmmaking. I love cinema and have a love/hate relationship with theatre. In my spare time, my hobbies include occasionally makeup, poetry, yoga, meditation, writing, and tiktok.

My true passions, however, lie within a deep love and true appreciation for all things radio and podcast related. In college, I hosted several internet radio shows myself, both with friends and by myself.

You may have even heard my voice in a podcast yourself! I provided my voice to The Six Disappearances of Ella McCray in their first season. I’m in episode four!

In 2019, I was an audience submitted response to a question in an episode of Question Box, a podcast game show about shockingly true answers! You can find their Twitter here!

In 2020, one of my short horror stories, ‘A Date With Uncle Wiggily’ was adapted for The NoSleep Podcast! You can find it here!

In 2021, I made a podcast of my own! You… may have heard of it!

I am a trans woman. I use she/her pronouns, I am in a married, monogamous relationship. If anything I say in my blog posts is offensive or if I get something wrong, please reach out to me. As a white person, I definitely carry a fair amount of privilege that I am not always aware of, but I try to be.

Some of what I have to say might be heartbreaking to you. It’s restorative to me. Sometimes I just need a venue. I write poetry and short stories sometimes. Feel free to take a look, if you’re interested!

I will try to be as sensitive to my readers as I can, and communicate with them as respectfully as possible. I hold myself responsible for this little corner of the internet, and I hope it shows.

Thanks for stopping by. I may not know you, but I appreciate you.
